The iGen is not a traditional
night vision scope as you may know them. It
uses different technologies, but would be somewhere
in the rage of a generation 2 to a generation
3 comparable unit. The iGen features ambient
light amplication of 650 times and functions
in day or night The variable frame rate allows
the user an adjustable exposure time to enhance
light gathering capability and can focus 2 fps
to 30 fps Its infrared intelligence has 3 modes/settings.
Wattage adjusts automatically as needed for
varying levels of darkness and the variable
display brightness control nhances infrared
sensitivity, double that of intensifier tube
technology
You get supurb clarity across the screen - edge
to edge. Programmable time out features saves your batteries
Unique to the iGen is the color output choices;
blue, traditional green, black and with or red.
Video composite output is featured so that you
can output what you are seeing to a camera or
video device.
